Amelia

Here is that sibling bond they share so closely. One minute they're hamming it up for the camera. The next, it's bloodshed. After spending the 4th with my parents, we headed down to Amelia for a few days. It was so nice. We actually only went to the beach at night. The kids loved hanging at the pool and the playground. That was fine with Scott as I don't think they served Red Stripes on the beach!
This was on the playground. It was so nice to have this great play area surrounded by a TALL cement wall. You knew they were just fine.

This photo was taken right after we had the lesson in not jumping in the chairs or on the rail. Lovely. It was a great view. We must have had our own separate wing. "The kids wing" It was comical to see our neighbors door the next morning. It had the Do Not Disturb sign hanging on the door knob. Ha - I'm sure they loved us.

Fun family photo. It's always so funny when I make Scott take a family pic. He holds the kids in such awkward positions!!!
Our king!
Lillee playing ring toss. She enjoyed playing a lot.
The beach at night. This was after Baxter made his exit. My parents came down for the day and hung out at the pool. We went to eat at the best Barbara Jean's there is. Somehow that picture got deleted... After being in the pool all day and then out to dinner, we decided 1. Baxter was going to spend the rest of his beach vacation at St. Simons Beach with my parents, 2. Baxter's Disney ticket for October is being canceled. 3. It was worth buying the extra cancellation insurance for the little tike!

so nice coming to the room from the pool to a nice plate of chocolates. The only difference in this plate and my birthday plate were the two munchkins who were chomping at the bit to help us eat it! Actually, I think Scott, Baxter and myself had a piece of chocolate while LG licked the entire words off the plate. It was great to have the kids with us on our anniversary.

Happy Anniversary to Us All

We share an anniversary with Tiffany and Cliff. Tiffany and I went to middle school together and were in a club together in high school. I ended up doing my student teaching in a school she was working in as a speech pathologist. We've shared some great times even if we do only get together July 7 each year! They are expecting their first child, Cohen Jefferson, in August! WOW! It was great to see them and the food at Halyards is phenomenal! Mmmmm...

Welcome Baby Libby!

For those of you who have not linked over as of yet, please check out the beautiful pictures of baby Libby and her family. Lillee Grace and i went to see them this weekend and they are absolutely perfect. She is such a sweet and calm baby and Amy and Matt are so natural. Congrats to them.

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July. Hope everyone had a fun and enjoyable holiday. Our family had a great time together. We watched the fireworks on Jekyll and even met up with Amy, Clay and Bethany at Summer Waves. The kids had a great time but I think Scott really loved the slides the best! My dad worked some of the weekend so we hung out mostly with my mom. We ate boiled peanuts, hamburgers, hot dogs, watermelon and lots of festive foods! Mmmm....there's nothing like mom's cooking! Baxter and Lillee Grace had a good time running around on the beach before the fireworks. When they started LG oooohhhhed and aaaaahhhed over them. However, Baxter sat perfectly still in his little chair. He did not say much at all. Will post more later about the rest of the week. It is definitely good to be home.

Baxter really loves spending time with nana and papa.

Here he comes. We all stayed in the Lazy River most of the day. I'm not sure who enjoyed the slides more? Scott or Bethany?

Thanks to Bethany, the adults got a little R&R while she entertained the troops in the kiddie area.
