Happy Birthday Annie, Pressley and Ben!
It's hard to believe it's been a year. Some days it's seemed like the year has crept by and other days it seems like it was just yesterday we were tying balloons on mailboxes. These three spend lots of time together and it's so fun seeing them forming such close bonds.
It's been quite a while since the last post. However, not a whole lot has been happening or changing. I'll guess that's good and bad. Good because we've been home a lot and very quiet. Bad because my leg pain is still somewhat of a touchy subject. Happy times were had at our annual block party. We changed it up a little this year and had face painting and a fire truck. The kids loved these new things! The ride rides were all over the street and lots of smelly feet were sliding on the jumpy slide!
We did suggest coming in your favorite team gear since our theme was football!
If the firetruck bell was rung once, it rang 1,000 times! The firemen escorted the children through the truck and let them explore the driver's seat.
My mom stayed the entire week and helped us kick off the party with 100 cupcakes! I'm absolutely certain I couldn't have done it without her here. She took care of everything while I sat on ice packs. Lills, Bax and Ben were ecstatic to have her here for that long!
