Summer Lovin..

Can you believe LG is swimming? I know that it should be something she did at age 6 months. But I am not wearing Birkenstocks at the moment nor do I still breastfeed. Therefore, she eats chicken, drinks non-organic milk and til last week, wore floaties. Now she may as well be Michael Phelps now that she's doing so well. We LOVE Ms. Tyrena!
I"m telling you, a little perfecting of that jump and we'll be headed for Canada. Wait, that's the Winter Olympics!

Baxter with Farrah at the pool. I'd be willing to bet she just played creepy mouse with him moments before this photo was taken! He loves to hang out at the pool and "eat something."
Here are the princesses of the neighborhood! This was one afternoon when we had an impromptu dress up party. Two tacos, two hot dogs. Two milks, two lemonades. 1 ketchup, three grapes? Wow - how do people do it? It was like running a Picadilly buffet line for a few mins! Girls had lots of fun and this was just one of their costume changes!

A play date for Bac Bac. They had camp at their school and Con Con came home with him. Then Talbot came for visit. LG and Talbot enjoyed being the "babysitters" and helping with the little pack of mischief. The two little tikes are extremely funny to be around. At one point they had gotten life jackets on and were squeezed tightly into the red car. Bax had so much fun. They talk about each other constantly and they're so sweet together you have to oblige their requests to hang out. It's also nice for Bax to have friends over since "Princess Polly" always has someone over to exchange "get-up" outfits!

The sibling bond they share! Why is every pic of her choking him though?

Apparently, Certain Website is Thriving

Window was starting to close for the children of the corn.... had to escape soon after this pic was taken.

According to http://www.thecertains.org/ is a hot item for folks to click over to. The technology gurues (sp.?) are tracking people who are coming to my blog and then linking over to theirs. So this is what a logisticator gets paid three figures to do all day? Track blog visitors. Maybe I will go back to school. Whomever they (you) may be, thanks for visiting! I was delighted to click on tonight and find four comments. Only children constantly need reassurance and pats on the back.

Here are some pics from our visit to "the big city" as Lillee Grace like tocall it all day Sat. We had to assess the home (so cute and reminded us of our old house). It was also time for me to get the much anticipated birthday present. I have been waiting for this for two months now. It's so nice to have a friend to be able to email the link to what I want and it just appears. I love it. We also acted as surrogate parents and took our friend to Loco's to eat. That's a great place to go where you can actually order the kids food as soon as you walk through the door. It appears = happy kids. Matt was working at the VA down the road which we decided was really cool for him to be doing on a Sat. He was busy saving lives (really hot) so we were unable to visit. We ended our visit with a trip to Home Goods where some clerk basically accosted us. I mean it was so bad, I'm surprised it didn't put her into labor. We could have delivered Baby C. on some really cool, inexpensive rugs.

Good luck to Matt this weekend in the Peachtree! That is awesome and I'm sure will have them both invigorated for the coming of the babe!

Our little Bax

He is so funny. Always ready for a pic. My mom got him this shirt and he loves it. I would say it suits him.

What a fun birthday!

This is what I did the ENTIRE weekend. Sadly, this was the Friday that the world learned Tim Russert passed away. It really made me sad. I spent a large amount of time reading the newspaper (which is not something I get to do often) and also took along two other good reads. I finished all of a great book, The Yummy Mummy. It was awesome. Also packed Atonement. Haven't finished it but working on it. Along with When Crickets Cry which was unreal, a real page turner. So I think I made up for all those times I was reading Rupunzel and Strawberry Shortcake. And don't forget Curious George!
So for my birthday Scott and I enjoyed a nice getaway to Lake Oconee. Had never been before and it was extremely rejuvenating and blissful. We had one dinner reservation and one spa appointment. Other than that, no place to be at any time. Sat. (the real birthday) we read the paper in bed til 9, went for a massage, had lunch at the pool, hung out at pool ALL DAY, layed in a hammock for an hour or so and watched a wedding, showered, then went back down by the pool for a late night supper. Don't worry, we will still in bed by 10 for Dateline. Some habits are hard to break! It was a really good time to be together and have some rest. Lillee Grace and BAxter really enjoyed our getaway as they were able to go to the beach and out in the boat with nana and papa. They don't mind us leaving at all.

Here's a pic of our beautiful, model-like feet. This is a picture we took on our honeymoon seven years ago. It would be interesting to see that picture and how our feet are getting worn and old.

This was Friday night. Got out of the shower to find Scotty sound asleep. I started not to wake him which would have been fine with me. However, I knew how much he was looking forward to a fancy meal. Me? I brought pb&j and cheez-its from Publix. I would have totally been finewith a picnic on the balcony. So, at the end of supper he is still raving about the creme brulee he ate there and the different flavors that "popped" and "crackled" in his mouth. He loves that. I'm glad I woke him up.

After several hours at the pool, I came back to find this waiting. How sweet of dear old Scotty. I think he had a little help from Amy!

he wants this to be his book cover! Crazy. His new Tilley hat I got him from SSI.

Sex & the City

We had a small gathering for the big movie. There ended up being 18 of us dressed like hussies and wearing our highest heels. Trust me, we were not sneaking in our usual gummy worms like we do with the kids! Not having seen the shows a whole lot, it was a little shocking at some of the "scenes." Farrah ended up getting lots of courtesy ice cups for us. It was a great way to celebrate the end of school!

Memorial Day '08

We spent Memorial Day with my parents at the lake. The kids had a lot of fun but Bax was definitely ready for a nap. He has been trying to get rid of his naps but we have assured him they are ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY! The kids enjoyed swimming and camping with nana and papa!
